Loetz
The The size 0 Loetz frit is equivalent to a Reichenbach powder or 00 frit, size 2 Loetz frit is is about the equivalent of a size 0-1 Riechenbach frit and the size 4 Loetz frit is about the equivalent of a size 1-2 Riechenbach frit.
These packets are carefully weighed on a digital scale.
Loetz C.O.E. is 93, however use in moderation as a surface decoration for Bullseye or Efettre has not caused me trouble with compatibility when thoroughly annealed at the temperature of the base glass.
The color of the frit is nothing near the finished look. For the most part, even though the Loetz COE isn't an exact match for Moretti/Effetre, you can use small amounts on your beads, and it works beautifully with Gaffer and Riechenbach as their COEs are close. |
